About Us
The Toronto Woodturners Guild meets through the fall, winter and spring. The Guild offers three types of activities to its members: General Meetings, Hands-On Lessons, and All-Day Seminars.
Meetings have an educational focus and are intended of interest to all experienced woodturners.

These sessions are for beginning turners who want to learn how to work on a lathe. Gain confidence in the fundamentals of turning: from proper sharpening of tools to efficient shaping techniques. Safety is emphasized. For more information, see the Hands-On Lessons page.
Twice a season, the Guild organizes a demonstration by a turner with international recognition. For more information, see the All-Day Seminars page.
