Hands-On Lessons

These sessions are for beginning turners who want to learn how to work on a lathe. Under the watchful eye of our experienced tutors, you can gain confidence in the fundamentals of turning: from proper sharpening of tools to efficient shaping techniques. Safety is emphasized.

 

Enrollment is limited and an additional fee for materials will be applied.

Hands-On meetings normally take place on the third Tuesday of the month.  Sessions were suspended during the pandemic, and have not yet resumed. This page will be updated when they do.
