Live Demonstration: Celtic Knots
Carl Durance will demonstrate that the creation of a Celtic knot motif in your turning is not as complicated as it looks. This demo is not to be missed. Carl's easy manner and ability to communicate makes this a great demo for all levels of turners.
Carl started turning wood in the mid-1980s. He is currently a member of the Grey-Bruce Woodturners Guild in Kincardine, Simcoe Woodturners Guild in Barrie, Thames Valley Woodturners Guild in London, American Association of Woodturners, Segmented Woodturners, and Ornamental Turning International. Through a combination of instructional training and self-taught (trial & error), Carl continues to develop and refine his technique.
Items for sale
We will have for sale some remaining pieces that did not sell at the Joe Kappy Memorial Garage Sale. Allan promises some great pricing!
The meeting will start at 7:00 pm. Most people come between 6:30 and 6:45 for casual conversation and to have a look at the show-and-tell table. If you are new, please come right in and introduce yourself to someone with a name tag.
